Alexander McQueen

I felt like writting about one of my favorite fashion designers. Alexander McQueen. He was born on March 17 1969, and sadly, died February 11, 2010. He was a British fashion designer and courtier best known for his in-depth knowledge of bespoke British tailoring, his tendency to juxtapose strength with fragility in his collections, as well as the emotional power and raw energy of his provocative fashion shows.  He is also known for having worked as chief designer at Givenchi  from 1996 to 2001 and for founding his own label under the name Alexander McQueen His achievements in fashion earned him four British Designer of the Year awards (1996, 1997, 2001 and 2003), as well as the CFDA's International Designer of the Year award in 2003.

Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s

The Star Blog on Stardoll just released this! Karl Lagerfeld will be launching a collection in the fall at Macy's! Its not really affordable, considering the outfits are over $100  US dollars. If you want to read the full article on stardoll click HERE.

Karl Legafeld was born on September 10, 1933 in Hamburg. He is a German fashion designer, artist and photographer based in Paris, France.  He has collaborated on a variety of fashion and art related projects, most notably as head designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel. Lagerfeld helms his own label fashion house, as well as the Italian house Fendi.

Who wore it best?

Who do you think wore this dress best? Model Daisy Lowe (left) or Kristen Callivari (right)
Daisy Lowe wore this "Miu Miu" dress in her usual, edgy style.She weares it short with black stockings, boyfriend blazer, and cute white heals. "The Hills" star Kristen Callivari gave this dress a California makeover with a bare tan, a ponytail and black peep-toes. In my opinion, Daisy Lowe takes this gorgeous dress and makes it her own, while Kristen Callivari dosnt "own" this dress. Who do you guys think wore this Miu Miu dress better?

YouTube Channel?

So, I was thinking why not start a YouTube channel just for this blog. I can post at least weekly updates and extras and the other writers can do the same. Just as an additional thing to try and make this blog the best it can be. So I will soon have it up and running but for now the channel is HERE.
